By accessing or using Sound Factory ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Sound Factory is a live DJ streaming platform that allows users to watch live performances, interact with performers through chat and reactions, send tips, and trigger visual effects during streams.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You may not use another person's account without permission
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Spam, flood, or disrupt chat functionality

5. Payments and Tips

Sound Factory allows users to send monetary tips to DJs. All payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors.

  • All tips are final and non-refundable
  • Sound Factory takes a platform fee from tips (disclosed at time of payment)
  • DJs receive tips according to our payout schedule
  • You must have valid payment information to send tips

6. Intellectual Property

All content on Sound Factory, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, and software, is the property of Sound Factory or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws.

7. DJ Content

DJs are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to stream all music and content. Sound Factory is not responsible for any copyright infringement by DJs.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

10. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL SOUND FACTORY BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on our website or sending an email.
